Me in a nutshell....

 

I came to this wonderful country over 25 years ago from Scotland.  I was a Registered Nurse and teacher for over 30 years and have always enjoyed creative writing, caring for people and making them happy so becoming a marriage celebrant seemed like a natural direction to take.

Relationships, family and learning about each couple's unique story of how you met, what you love about each other, what drives you nuts about each other.. are some of the reasons I love being a Marriage Celebrant so much.

I love and respect the traditions of a marriage ceremony. The words a celebrant uses should be personal, have meaning and highlight the importance of the undertaking a couple are going to enter into, so that you and your guests feel as though they have experienced something truly special.

My previous role as a Registered Nurse and my own values ensure that I am kind and patient and this shows in everything I do. I genuinely care for the outcome of each ceremony I am entrusted to undertake and I have a vested interest in achieving your happiness.
